There is a lot of talk lately (for a number of years actually) of classical music dying, struggling to find new audiences, etc Basically negative news and sentiment. I know of at least 10 000 people who would disagree. The below youTube video features 10 000 Japanese singers performing the last movement of Beethoven's 9th symphony. Truly a spectacle to behold. Credit must surly go to conductor, Yutaka Sado, for keeping such gigantic forces in check. Very well done indeed. Sometimes all we need is a little good news.
